December 21, 2011 Delbert Fackler 1927-2011 of age-related causes. He was 84. He was born Aug. 11, 1927, in Emmett, Idaho, to William and Eliza- beth Roberts Fackler. He married Evelyn Holdiman on Aug. 10, 1944, in Emmett. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a printer for Eugene Fruit Growers for 30 years. Survivors include his wife Evelyn; a daughter, Bar- bara Simmons (Scott) of Eugene; three sons, Eu- gene (Sandy) of Springfield, Donald (Sherry) of Elma, Wash., and Randy (Sherry) of China; two sis- ters, Pearl Rowe of Arizona and Hazel Richardson of Utah; six grandchildren; and seven great-grand- children. Delbert loved fishing, hunting, music and singing. He spent winters in Arizona for the past 27 years. Memorial gathering will be held later in Spring- field, Oregon. Quartzsite Art Guild Art Show and Sale January 13 & 14 Quartzsite, AZ- Mark your calendars for the Quartzsite Art Guild's "Art Show and Sale" Friday, January 13th and Sat- urday, January 14th. We have many great artists and student artists in the area, and would love to show off their talents. Mary Huntley will have on dis- play an arrangement of Arizona's Past - paintings for our Arizona Centennial- a must see! The show will include original art, prints and cards for sale. Hourly door prize drawings are free of charge to anyone visiting the show. A grand prize drawing of $50.00 cash coins will be announced on Saturday. Live music will be provided by Rich- ard and Carol Gregg. The artists invite you to join the fun by voting for the painting you like best and meeting the artists. Artists are invited to show and need to attend two meetings prior to the show. Meetings are 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The fee is $20 for an 8 ft. table for non-members and members who have not met the meeting criteria.
