Page 12 www.DesertMessenger.com Quartzsite, AZ- Operation Hero Comfort had our annual Fund Raiser – Silent Auction on Sat. Dec. 10th. It was a huge success. We had a great turn out and people were able to get wonderful bargains. We had more donations this year and therefore we raised more money than previous years. We would like to thank everyone who attended and sup- ported our efforts. Town Hall allowed us to hold the fund raiser there again this year, everyone is so supportive of us. Thrivent for Lutherans were able to give us matching funds again this year. They also supplied many volunteer hours to help set up and clean up. The Fire Department donated the use of tables and the VFW donated ice for our re- freshments. This was truly a community event. What a great example of the wonderful Operation Hero Comfort thanks community Mon-Fri Quiet Times 928-927-8081 BIG SELECTIONS OF: Greeting Cards Shipping Supplies Office Supplies Drop off for UPS & FedEx Express 90 E.
