M���� 2, 2011 Desert Brush Art Show another huge success! BOUSE- Desert Brush Art Club would like to dedicate their 34th annual Art Show in memory of H.B. Davis and the Chil- dren of Bouse. H.B. Davis passed away summer of 2010. He is instrumental in the foundation stages of the Desert Brush Art Club, building racks, raffl e board and signs. He and his wife Charolotte Davis are great supporters of the Arts. The children of Bouse are the big win- ners of this years Art Show with 5 1st, 5 second, and 5 third place winners. The best of Show went to a 1st grader and re- ceived a cash reward for his efforts. All children received cash for their entries and DBAC gifted $300.00 to the school for art supplies. This years Club Best of Show winner Oney Budge, (right) won for her paint- ing titled “Captain Alex”. Norm, owner of the Mountain Quail Cafe purchased a copy of the painting to hang in the newly fi nished Fire Department Build- ing in Bouse. The Painting depicts an old fi re truck and a small boy wearing his grandfathers Fire Captains Helmet. Thanks to everyone for their continued support.
