M���� 3, 2011 ���.D�����M��������.��� Quartzsite Hwy. 95 Beautifi cation to begin YUMA - The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin landscape im- provements on State Route 95 in Quartzsite beginning Monday (Feb. 28). Im- provements will include trees, benches and bike racks. The project area is ap- proximately one mile long immediately north of Interstate 10. What to expect during construction: • Construction will take place weekdays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. • The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph in the project area. • The work will begin on the east side of the road fi rst for approximately two months and then shift over to the west side for approximately six weeks. • No work is scheduled on weekends or holidays. • The project is scheduled to be completed this summer. • ADOT will update the public of scheduled closures as more information be- comes available. As always, drivers are reminded to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel. ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
