Following a devastating fire in 2015, Paddy's rebuilt in 2016 and opened The Church the next year. It has been a smashing success ever since. Owner Paddy Gibney believes that God has a sense of humor. Maybe that's why The Church contains a mural depicting Jesus and his disciples — and a beer. Not to mention some potato chips. The complex represents several world religions as a testament to love, respect and celebration. "It's a dark time for humor," Gibney said. "Political correctness has driven many fair-minded people into the nearest Irish pub. Paddy's is a place where there are no strangers, only friends who have yet to meet." Along with its all-inclusive perspective, The Church is known for electronic dance music, a party atmosphere, live music and great beer. It plans on add- ing comedy, gameshow and trivia nights to the mix soon. You can even get married here. Everyone (but Wankers) is welcome.
