This unique mix of two very strong cultures and culinary traditions explains the huge variety of authentic Chinese and Thai fare available at Fayetteville's oldest Thai restaurant, the Thai Pepper. The authenticity and incredible quality of the food served at the Thai Pepper is unrivaled. Generations of knowledge and only the freshest ingredients are used daily. The powerful flavors of traditional Thai and Chinese cuisine are pleasantly magnified when created with only the best ingredients. The lunch buffet and Friday dinner buffet allow patrons to experience a huge variety of dishes, 25 traditional Chinese and Thai dishes to be exact, in one sitting, and then go back again for favorites. Take-out is also offered six days a week, but traditional dining in at any time during the week is always an incredible experience. Best Vietnamese Restaurant Saigon Bistro 1040 Bragg Blvd 910.920.3578 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Saigon- Bistro/211626978878278 Saigon Bistro is a small friendly restaurant that offers a clean and welcoming environment to enjoy traditional Vietnamese food. A cornerstone to authentic Vietnamese cooking is a fresh ingredient. The spring rolls, Pho crisp and bright vegetables are a must have. Saigon Bistro cuts no corners when preparing dishes. From the first bite, the high quality and freshness of the ingredients are evident. There is no MSG in their food. Everything is cooked to order, not a single dish sits beneath a heat lamp before reaching the diner. Pho is a traditional Vietnamese dish, and a specialty of the Saigon Bistro. It is a soup composed of a rich beef stock, thin rice noodles and various cuts of either chicken or beef. Often, fresh peppers, basil, lime and mung beans are brought with the Pho to be added by the diner. The restaurant is celebrating its second annivrsary this year. Our readers have already given them the best present — voting it the Best Vietnamese Restaurant. Best Bakery Superior Bakery 2433 Hope Mills Rd. 910.424.4242 Superior Bakery is an outstanding culinary experience. The staff produces a huge variety of products such as breads, cakes, cannolis, glazed croissants, doughnuts and other pastries. Upon entering the bakery, the pride that the entire staff takes in their craft is evident. All of the employees are extremely helpful and happy to make recommendations or answer any questions. Large samples of the day's products are everywhere as they are positive that just a single bite will convince any patron to purchase more. The cakes are moist and the frostings are flavorful yet not overly sweet. The balance of flavors is always expert. Besides sweets, the bakery also makes incredible breads. Light and airy, or dense and hearty, every bread that the Superior Bakery offers is baked to perfection. The bland breads found at supermarkets cannot hold a candle to these amazing wheat based creations. Sandwiches will never be the same.
