Head into Haymount and stop in at the Cape Fear Regional Theatre. The theatre has consistently made the "Best of" list, and with good cause. While you can see local folks treading the boards, you can also watch Broadway actors strut their stuff right alongside them. In its 53rd season, the CFRT is at a turning point. As it lives out its motto, "Great Stories Told Here," the theatre used its 52nd season to reflect on the power of storytelling and the visceral impact of live theatre on the community. The CFRT strives to tell stories that resonate with all members of this dynamic, diverse community. The theatre looks forward to the exciting stories that are coming to the stage in its 53rd season. . Best Local Actor Staci Graybill Staci Graybill is the assistant artistic director at Sweet Tea and Shakespeare Company; however, she spends much of her time in front of the lights having recently performed in Romeo and Juliet and 12th Night. Graybill, born and raised in Fayetteville, has been involved in the local theatre com- munity for almost 15 years. She has worked with such theatres as the Cape Fear Regional Theatre, The Gilbert Theater, Stage Door Theater and is a company member of The Sweet Tea Shakespeare Company. Graybill says she feels very blessed to be awarded The Best Actor of Fayetteville for 2014. The award comes at an exciting time in Graybill's life. She recently gave birth to her baby boy, Connor. She noted that she was pregnant during all of the shows she was involved in over this past year. Graybill realizes what an honor she has been given and is thankful to all who voted for her and wants to encourage the people of Fayetteville and the surround- ing areas to continue to support local arts in the community." 4 8 2 N .
