SEPTEMBER 20 - 26, 2017 UCW 29 Best of Fayetteville Best Food Truck R Burger 814 Larkspur Dr. (910) 527-1467 R Burger was one of the first Food Truck entrepreneurs to bless the streets of Fayetteville. For three years they have served up heavenly burgers, hot dogs and freshly cut French fries. Owners Rob and Mary Russell have a combined 15 years of restaurant experience and proudly support other local businesses by making as many purchases as they can locally. They support the Fayetteville community and operate while always answering that fundamental question: "Is it the right thing to do?" Clearly, their reputation for serving great food has earned them quite a following around town. Locals are constantly weighing in and posting comments on the R Burger Facebook page. Five-star review after five-star review echo the same sentiment — "best burger in Fayetteville." This sentiment is repeated so many times that this writer stopped counting. All of R Burger's prices are reasonable, even the specialty burgers like the $5 Southern Burger or fat, juicy hot dogs for only $2.50. So, order up R Burger's standard fare, or let your imagination go wild and create your own. Follow the R Burger Facebook and Twitter pages to stay up-to-date on the truck's location. Come say hi to Rob and Mary and enjoy the best hamburger in Fayetteville and Cumberland County. Best Coffee House The Coffee Scene Serving Fayetteville, Fort Bragg and Cameron (910) 864-7948 or www.thecoffeesceneinc.com The Coffee Scene has been a popular Fayetteville gathering spot since its opening in 1996. From college students cramming for midterms to poets and musicians pouring their hearts out at weekly open mic nights — this is a place that allows for concentration and relaxation, business and arts. Now, it's a popular gathering spot at Cross Creek Mall, Fort Bragg and Cameron. On Morganton Road, The Coffee Scene's unique two-story structure creates an inviting and welcoming atmosphere for its many customers. Large, comfy couches on the first floor allow you to relax and enjoy personal conversations or group discussions. Or, you may choose to perch solo on high bar stools around tall, small circular tables. You can also enjoy your latte or coffee outside in an enclosed front porch area. A whimsical, black spiral staircase leads up to the second floor, where movable tables allow for meetings of two to eight people, and coffee tables next to couches create the perfect environment for anyone who's got some work to do late into the afternoon. Owners Kiki Manis and Victoria Stout are proud of the business and culture they've created. Together, they understand that good coffee is best paired with good company — along with gelato, baklava and excellent customer service. Sundays are poetry nights, Monday nights feature acoustic music and Tuesdays and Saturdays offer buy one, get one free gelato. You should make the scene at The Coffee Scene. 910.977.1001 910.977.1001 • Computer Systems Management • Server Migration/Deployment • Telephone System Installation/Repair • Network/Internet/VPN Design • Multi-Site Support • System Design/Consulting • Voice/Data Cabling • Virtual Server Implementation • Converged Network Integration • System Maintenance/Repair 951 S McPherson Church Road | Fayetteville, NC B E S T OF FAYETTEVILLE B E S T OF FAYETTEVILLE Advertising to Grow Your Business www.upandcomingweekly.com For effective advertising call 910.484.6200 today!
