For those of us lucky enough to call Fayetteville home, we have only to head downtown to the Cape Fear Regional Theatre to catch a profes- sional show that has many people talking.. The theatre has consistently made the Best of list, and with good cause. While you can see local folks treading the boards, you can also watch Broadway actors strut their stuff right alongside them. The Cape Fear Regional Theatre daily lives its motto, "Great Stories Told Here." The CFRT strives to tell stories that reso- nate with all member of this dynamic, diverse community. The theatre looks for- ward to the exciting stories that are coming to the stage this season. . Best Local Actor Kaley Morrison Kaley Morrison was born and raised in Fayetteville. She is one of many young people in the commu- nity who was bitten by the acting bug and have gone on to pur- sue acting as a career. Morrison received her BA in theatre from Campbell University. She has also studied the Uta Hagen Techniques at Burning Coal Theatre in Raleigh. Locally, you may have caught her on stage playing a witch in Macbeth or the Porter at Gilber Theater. She has also performed in The Cherry Orchard with Sweet Tea Shakespeare and A Midsummer Night's Dream as Mustardseed, with Cape Fear Regional Theatre Her next show is with Sweet Tea Shakespeare, where she will play Viola in Twelfth Night.
