Community Since 1899
The Chamber has a long history of serving the business community in the Fayetteville
region. It dates back to 1899. The Chamber has changed and evolved over the years,
and today -- after the spin off of the economic development arm, The Alliance -- is now
posed to once again become the strong voice for business. Part of the latest evolution is
an update to the brand to reflect the vision, mission, and direction that were laid out in the
Chamber's 2025 Task Force report. The new brand reflects a focus on the future growth
of business in community with the use of vibrant colors and symbol that represents
forward movement. The stars within the logo are a "nod" to the military and all they
represent to our community and the chamber. The words "of commerce" were removed
as research showed that of the 200 like-size chambers across the U.S., a majority of them
had dropped the words to focus on the more modern wording of just "chamber."
A tagline line was added – "Serving the Business Community Since 1899" – as a
constant reminder that the Chamber's focus is serving the businesses in the community.
