The Quartzsite Police Department is announcing that special time of year! Our Police Department will be participating and conducting events to benefi t the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run from now until the end of the year. We are now accepting donations for the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run 2015 at the Quartzsite Police Department, located at 305 N. Plymouth Avenue. All donations will benefi t the Special Olympic Organization events and partici- pants. With your donation, you will receive a Support/Memorial Wristband while supplies last. Law Enforcement Torch Run T-Shirts are also available for pre-order at our Police Department for $20 per shirt. The Law Enforcement Torch Run will take place once again on Wednesday, May 06, 2015. More details will be available soon as to the time of the event, starting point and ending point. Plan now for participation or come support this special event! Go approximately 1 1/4 miles to Riverside drive and turn right (Head East on Riverside). Go 1 mile to Olive Lake Blvd. and turn left (Head North on Olive Lake Blvd.) Go 1/8 mile to the main entrance of the fairgrounds.
