P 4 tennial Committee wishes to thank the following people for their donations for the Main Street Art. Karen and Robbie from Silly Al’s Pizza and the RC Flyers for the purchase of plywood, Dinice Ross and Kathryn Hopkins for the primer. This now makes a total of 12 large panels, four almost completed and 8 ready to go. We also have a 2 foot panel that will be a filler in between the art panels. I just wish to say that many people are so willing to come forward and donate in many areas. Recently I collected buckets for the restoration of the “Q” on Q Mountain, and the Senior Center, Quartz- site Bakery, Salvation Army, La Casa del Rancho Restaurant and Burger King were so helpful. Thank you to everyone. Our Centennial Christmas Tree is almost ready for the Rotary Fundraiser. It will be slightly different, but again a thank you to Brenda at Hardies Beads & Jewelry for the gift boxes. They were exactly what we needed. I am so thankful we live in a small com- munity, and we are so blessed to have the enthusiasm of the businesses, clubs and individuals behind us. We know this year- long celebration is headed for success when we all continue to pull together. Thank you again to everyone. Ca. & this is their first season in Quartz- site, so stop by and say Hello, and let them know what a great community we are here. Don’t forget to order Thanksgiving and Christmas pies early. No pumpkin... just the best apple pie ever! Thanks again to all of you for your patronage, support, help and most of all your prayers! Judy and Doug are from Costa Mesa, N 17, 2010 This character has tried all the under- handed ways to get back in control of our Town. If you can get a hold of the letter that was written by John Harvie, you will begin to understand the ways of this character. This is or should be required reading by the dissidents and the rest of the misguided temporary citizens of our Town. Please disregard the spelling of my letters as most of you know I only have a seventh grade education as some of the dissidents have so aptly broadcast it about. However I’ll compare any of my accomplishments against anyone. Also, I’ve noticed that some of the Jeannie Helms Quartzsite & Alaska PTA would like to thank the following for making the Fall Festival a huge Apple Pie.....a new gran’ma...Judy, but the “original” gran’ma will be around this winter, so please stop by and say hi. There are new owners at Gran’ma’s RAISING AWARENESS This letter is giving thanks to those re- sponsible for the speed-check machine on Quail Trail Street. Several times daily I walk or bicycle this road and it is wonderful to see drivers consciously slow down the moment they become aware of how fast they are going. Hygeia Halfmoon, Quartzsite turn, there is another group returning also. This group I call the dissidents. They are a group of people that think they can run our Town according to the will of the character out west of Town. SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT #2 As the Snowbirds are starting to re- returning [allegedly] illegal voters have still have their out of state licenses. The MVD requires that the registered vot- ers must change their auto registration within a immediately after registering to vote. Also our Police Dept. can en- force the law regarding A.R.S. Title 28. That law says you must immediately change your auto registration or face a $500.00--$700.00 fine which will be enforced by our Police Dept. Could be a bonus for our State. I hope you misguided dissidents have discovered that I served four years as a Councilman including the one year as Mayor. I have never put our Town in legal jeopardy as the current Mayor has. So keep current of his actions and let your voice be heard.
