At Bubba's 33, customers can get the best of both worlds: a family-friendly atmosphere and the feel of an authen- tic garage bar. The laid-back eatery offers sturdy drinks and food made from scratch daily for its large local following. The neon-lit interior highlights the restaurant chain's flair for fun; with walls covered in sports memorabilia and electronic knick-knacks, there is no shortage of things to admire or find interest in as you dine. High-definition televisions fill the restaurant, so no matter the seat, it's always front-row for customers who like to be up-close and personal to the action—whatever that action may be. The restaurant boasts beer at temps one degree above freezing, fresh ground burgers, and stone-fired pizza as part of their everyday dining experience. With friendly service and a mix of wings, cocktails, seafood and so much more, Bubba's 33 has a little something for everyone. Best Bakery/Best Desserts Superior Bakery 2433 Hope Mills Road 910-424-4242 or www.superiorbakerync.com Superior Bakery has a rich tradition of service to Fayetteville and Cumberland County, dating back to 1956 when it was founded by John S. Poulos. Poulos came to the United States from his native Greece in 1951. After work- ing as a dishwasher, he saved up enough money to buy a defunct bakery on Raeford Road. He married Kay Paliouras in 1958, and the couple grew the busi- ness until it relocated to its current location in 1971. Poulos retired in 1988, and the business stayed in the family as son Nick took over. This year, the family is celebrating 66 years in business thanks to their loyal customers and a reputation of offering quality items at reasonable prices. One longtime customer of Superior Bakery shared this review on Facebook. "I have loved this bakery for 40 years,'' she said. "If you like a German-style breakfast, go buy their brotchen rolls baked fresh every morning. I could eat a half dozen of their glazed croissants. They're amazing. They have a wonderful variety of lots of other delicious bakery items too.'' Another customer summed up how customers feel about Superior Bakery: "I love this bakery!"
