Move over millennials.
Gen Z has its bags packed
and is ready to take on
the world
A
ccording to Virtuoso, the
world's leading travel agency
network, the next time you're
standing in line to go through
security at the airport, you're going to be
seeing a lot of a certain class of people:
those of Generation Z. Findings from a
recent survey of Virtuoso's global advisors
show that Gen Zers — typically defi ned
as those born after 1994 — have now
displaced millennials as the leading force
in travel. In just three years, it's expected
that Generation Z will make up 40
percent of all consumers with disposable
income for travel, propelling them to
become the most traveled generation of
all time. Here, we take a look at where
Gen Zers are going and what they're
doing when they get there.
