George Wonenberg did a fine of leading our meeting. We had a nice business meeting regarding our up-coming ART SHOW in January and when to meet at Ron and Jo Stoltz's ga- rage to finish painting on the Centen- nial paintings for Quartzsite, call Ron or Jo at 928-951-0126. Then we all showed one of our favorite paintings or one we had questions about and wanted advise/critiques on what do to. It was fun and everyone participated. We wish to thank Rain and the Proud Neighbors of Quartzsite for giving us a donation for our artist's contributions, for their time and effort in painting the rock slabs for the "Rockin' In Quartz- site" event of 2010 -2011 and especially for all of Mark Goldberg's time and work and money for paints in making the stands for the rock slabs. We Thank You. Our next meeting will be Thursday Nov 17 at 6:30 pm. at the Senior Building. It will be a business meeting to volun- teer for duties for our up-coming ART SHOW in January. With everyone working together we hope to put on a fine art show for all of Quartzsite to en- joy. So if you have some art you would like to show in January, please come to our meeting to sign up for a table and bring a sample of your artwork if you are not a member. See you there. Quartzsite's popular "Golden Oldies Band" has returned and have start- ed their Thursday evening jams at 6:30pm. They will again be at the Split Rail RV park, located at 1258 N. Crossover Country Western is allowed; each act gets two songs each time up on stage.
