O������ 6, 2010 D����� M�������� QCB organizer thanks community Thank you to everyone who helped make the 1st Annual Quartzsite Country Bash a success! It was truly a community effort. To all of my volunteers - You guys rock! Thank you to our police officers for coming and making sure everyone stayed safe. To all of our businesses, organizations, and community members who had enough faith in me to sponsor this event, I hope you truly feel you got your money’s worth. We will only go bigger and better in the future. To Harry Luge and his band, you guys were amazing. Now everyone here knows how great you are! To my friends who had my back: I love each and every one of you. She brought boxes and boxes of non-perishable food items to the bank. The normally empty desk in the lobby was stacked full of cans and packages. “Our customer saw how empty the food bank was and decided to help out!” said Suzan Fonda, Bank Manager, who was so excited when she phoned Carol Kelley, (left) to “come pick up your food at the bank!” “It’s been a long, hard summer for us, and this will really help out alot,” said Kelley, “but we still need more!” The Food Bank is open Tues. and Thurs. mornings 8-noon just north of the Senior Center on Moon Mountain Rd.
