Best Basketball Court Bail Bonds Inc. • Focusing On Cumberland County • Also Serving Hoke, Harnett & Bladen Counties FAST, PROFESSIONAL SERVICE  Eric S. Waite WWW.ACESHIGHNC.COM WWW.ACESHIGHNC.COM 24/7 Healthplex 1930 Skibo Rd. 910.860.7539 www.healthplexonline.com With the large number of basketball courts in our community (schools, colleges, rec centers), it’s quite a prize for the Healthplex to take these hon- ors. The Healthplex is a private facility for members and their guests, so you may not get a chance to play the court often, but when you do, there’s noth- ing but net. If you are looking for somewhere else to play, our readers also recom- mend the courts at the YMCA and on Fort Bragg. Best Bowling Alley B & B Lanes 3003 Fort Bragg Rd., Fayetteville 910.484.5178 www.bandblanes.com B & B Lanes are Up & Coming Week- ly’s readers fayvorite place to head when they are ready to burn up the lanes. Bowlers are a fun bunch. They are always laughing and challenging each other. Most people see bowling as an individual sport, but B & B is home to several leagues, where players gather to test their collective skills against other teams. But you don’t have to a great bowler to have fun at B & B. It’s also a great place to host birthday parties or just to spend some time getting to know someone. If you haven’t polished the lanes recently, stop by B & B — you just might get a strike! Best BBQ Bar-B-Que Hut 2802 Fort Bragg Rd., 910.485.5390 2965 Owen Dr., 910.484.1975 Since 1965 the folks at the Bar-B-Que Hut have been serving up tangy East- ern NC Style BBQ to the folks in Fayetteville. They also specialize in hush puppies, fixin’s and the quintessential southern dessert — banana pudding. There really is no- where else in town that you’d rather be when you get a hankerin’ for some BBQ, and the folks at Bar-B-Que Hut are more than happy to serve it to you — with a smile. Best Breakfast IHOP 1935 Skibo Rd., Fayetteville 910.764.1721 www.ihop.com Once again IHOP takes the lead when it comes to getting a delicious breakfast. They have a new location this year off Raeford Road near the Gillis Hill Wal-Mart. It stays just as packed as the Skibo Road location, which strangely enough doesn’t seem to be any less busy than it was when it was the only IHOP in town. A peek at the parking lot and the lines outside the door on any given weekend morning is a dead give away that IHOP serves up the best breakfast in town and they do it all day long. 26 BEST OF FAYETTEVILLE SEPTEMBER 8-14, 2010 WWW.UPANDCOMINGWEEKLY.COM
