The Town's 'sewer expert' said that each hook up must have their required capacity reserved in the plant. We have reached a point where the total capacity is reserved and must enlarge the system. Why do we not have the monthly fee for each hook up based on the fixed cost of the reserved capacity for each lot? If a large amount is reserved for one lot and a smaller reserve for another lot, the monthly fee should be different. Where is this shown in the proposed rates? And finally, why hold a meeting in August to determine sewer rates when a lot of the affected people are out of town?
