The purpose of this No- vember 2015 Climate Action Plan is to satisfy and achieve General Plan Policy OS-2.7, which states that Tehama County will pre- pare a Climate Action Plan, as it will streamline and assist pri- vate parties, as well as, local agencies in the procedures, process, analysis and determi- nation of individuals and enti- ties action upon the environ- ment. REZONE# 15-07, Tehama County Comprehensive Amended Zon- ing Map Update (General Plan Implementation Phase II) . Plan- ning Commission Recommenda- tion to the Board of Supervisors to amend the Countywide Zon- ing Map by adopting Rezone 15- 07 (General Plan Phase II Imple- mentation), which will replace the former Sectional District Maps with a new Zoning Map of Tehama County depicting the zoning districts for each parcel in the unincorporated areas of Tehama County. The revised Zoning Map incorporates zoning district changes for numerous properties countywide to reflect land use designation changes in the General Plan Update 2009- 2029 and the revised zoning pro- visions of Title 17. The intent of the proposed map amendments are to address the policies and implementation measures of the Tehama County General Plan 2009-2029. Pursuant to the provi- sions of state law, the zoning code must be amended as nec- essary within a reasonable time after adoption or amendment of a General Plan, to ensure consis- tency of the zoning code with the direction and intent of the General Plan. There are about 4,075 properties and/or parcels affected by this map, which to- tal approximately 66,956 acres.
