| SUPER BOWL SUNDAY | 40 SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2016 RUSTY KENNEDY — ASSOCIATED PRESS Once Michael Jackson fired up Super Bowl XXVII in Pasadena, it was obvious there would be no going back to Up With People as the Halime Show. The King of Pop set a standard that some say hasn't been met since. MATT SLOCUM — ASSOCIATED PRESS Roger Daltrey of The Who belted out a medley of the band's hits (and "CSI" theme songs) at Super Bowl XLIV in Miami. Who liked it best? No doubt CBS, which had the game (and, coincidentally, numerous "CSI" shows) that year. JOE RIMKUS JR — MIAMI HERALD Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, including Steven Van Zandt (right), turned the Halime Show at Super Bowl XLIII into a rock n' roll revival in Tampa, Fla. And for once, Bruce got off the stage in less than three hours. ELISE AMENDOLA — ASSOCIATED PRESS The phrase "wardrobe malfunction" entered popular culture in a big way aer part of Janet Jackson's outfit came undone (with the help of a tug from Justin Timberlake) during the Halime Show of Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston.
