The program will be presented by Linda Masters, County Extension Director of La Paz County Cooperative Extension. Information on local hummingbirds, refreshments will be served, free to the public. Oct. 21 & 22 AoG Yard Sale First Assembly of God Women's Min- istry will hold a fundraising Yard Sale on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21st & 22nd from 7am til 2pm. It will be held under the tent behind the church, lo- cated at 665 W. Tyson, Quartzsite. www.DesertMessenger.com Oct. 22 Free Movie at the park Quartzsite Substance Abuse Preven- tion Coalition will be sponsoring a free movie in the park on Oct.22., 6:00 pm, at the town football field. Movie this month is "Zookeeper" rated PG. Movie will start as soon as it is dark enough. Hotdogs, Nachos, Popcorn, Candy and Drinks will be available to purchase. Free T-shirts and the Logo contest winner will be announced. Come out and kick off the start of "Red Ribbon Week". Bring a chair and/or a blankets and have some quality family time in the park. Bouse Elementary School and Bouse Cham- ber are working together sponsoring a parade on Saturday, Oct. 22nd. The parade starts at 10am with line up at 9am at the School. BBQ following at the park. The Rock Art will be revealed dur- ing the Artist Reception beginning at 6pm. Held at "the Rock Motel" at Ty- son Wells Showgrounds, W. Kuehn and Hwy. 95. Refreshments and a "bit of the bubbly" will be served as artists showcase their one-of-a-kind Rock Art before they "hit the street" at a variety of sponsors around town.
