October 19, 2011 Town-wide yard sale Nov. 11, 12, 13 Sponsored by the Town of Quartz- site's Arizona Centennial Commitee and GFWC Women's Club Hello, my name is PJ and a lot of you here know me or of me. I volun- teered to be the coordinator for this year's Town Wide Yard Sale. The main reason I am writing this is because I would personally like to see the whole town covered in the colorful balloons, celebrate the Arizona Centennial Year of 2012, the founding of Arizona. Can you imagine folks coming into our town from every direction and see this colorful display, what a welcome it would be. It would show how proud we are of our town, how friendly and welcoming we are to them all. Partici- pants in the Town Wide Yard Sale are offered FREE balloons in the Arizona State colors, a colorful yard sale sign and 20 word listing for free with ad- dress in the Desert Messenger on Nov. 2nd. Now that's a bargain in every- body's lingo. All you have to do is either call me at 928-927-5324, e-mail me at www.DesertMessenger.com pjwindhawk@tds.net with Yard Sale in the subject line or fill out the appli- cation on page 14 of this issue of the Desert Messenger. Deadline for the Desert Messenger map is October 26th, but I will main- tain a printable sheet of the addresses. Just think this is all at no cost to you, you can empty out all that space and with the vendors coming in you can fill it up again with treasures for next year's yard sale. Also remember the Town Wide Clean-Up is planned for that following weekend, Nov. 18 & 19! Come on everyone let's join in 'git it done in grand style'!
