Christmas fundraiser dance
a huge success
Quartzsite, AZ- The Grandpas and Grandmas
provided free entertainment and a full evening
of fun Saturday, December 14, 2013. The benefit
dance was a wonderful success. It was held at
Holiday Palms RV Park. More than 200 dancers showed up and donated somewhere around
$500 dollars worth of toys (four big boxes full)
to be distributed on Christmas to Quartzsite
kids who might otherwise not have much under
their trees. Mary Jane Scott, the activities coordinator for the park, set things up for the event
and is coordinating with the organizations that
will be distributing the toys.
