The monies raised will help with postage for the pack- ages that are sent each month to the adopted units who are currently serv- ing in harm's way. Items for the Si- lent Auction are needed, and anyone who wishes to donate something for this great cause --handcrafted or new items, can drop them off at the Senior Apartments, or call Anita Carlson at site has asked the Quartzsite Art Guild to participate with them at the 1st An- nual Harvest Festival Beer and Wine tasting" on Nov 10th, 2012. We will have an art show featuring Fine Art Paintings. There will also be Sparkling Cider, a Coffee Bar and Hors d'oeuvres, more. There are many artists in this area, and we would love to have you come The GFWC Women's Club of Quartz- Donations needed for Silent Auction troop benefit Operation Hero Comfort will be Hello Neighbors; 927-4292 (home) or 763-639-9330 (cell) and she will arrange to get them. This silent auction has been very pop- ular the past few years since it started, and the vendors, businesses, and indi- viduals who have donated in the past have been wonderful, so it is hoped to be just as successful again this year. Items for the packages are always needed and welcomed also, if you have things you would like to donate for the boxes or the silent auction, please call Anita for more information. Calling all artists and join with us and display your work as well. You do not have to be a mem- ber of the Art Guild to show your work. The Women's Club has asked that we show Fine Art Only.
