The fi lm crew is on a road trip from Los Angeles to Mi- ami, interviewing children and adults along the way. The documentary will be shown on VPRO, which often col- laborates with other European broad- casting organizations such as WDR, the BBC, and Arte. Smit was in Quartzsite last month with Israel Lewites of Nicaragua, the poorest country in South America. ����� | S���� B���C�� ����� | S���� B���C�� Part of the project will benefi t the or- phan children of Nicaragua as they are collecting donations along their trav- els. Quartzsite answered the call with boxes of children's toys and supplies dropped off at Reader's Oasis. Paul Winer, owner, donated over 500 chil- dren's books to the Nicaraguan chil- dren.
