Page 14 Library to hold two programs, Jan. 18 & 19 Quartzsite Library is holding a book signing on Wed. January 18th at 2:30pm. The author is Gerald T. Ahnert. The book is The Butterfield Trail and Overland Mail Company in Arizona, 1858-1861. The book contains ninety-five maps showing the location of the 400 mile trail and twenty-six stage station sites in Arizona. Dr Jay Cravath will be an evening program Thurs- day, January 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall. Dr Cravath is a composer, writer and scholar in the field of music and American Indian studies. This program is brought to you by Arizona Humanities, who helps to share cultures and enrich communi- ties such as ours. Thanks also to Quartzsite Public Library, Quartzsite Friends of the Library and the Quartzsite Museum. Both programs are free to public and free refresh- ments will be served.
