It stops in the wild west at the Old Tale Saloon. The 1880's Variety Show is an amusing family entertainment featur- ing the family band A3. This little family group includes: Mom, Angela, on vocals and percussion; Dad, Aaron, a music teacher for over 20 years, plays guitar and sings harmony as well as lead vocals; nine year-old daughter Aria sings, and also plays harmonica, percussion and keyboard. Aaron and Angela have been performing together professionally for over 13 years, writing their own music, parody songs, and developing a song archive including 100's of popular songs. These three talented entertainers perform skits and songs in the guise of many interest- ing, and hilarious characters, so you never know who will show up at the Old Tale Sa- loon, unless you do! All 1880's Variety Showskits include a variety of songs. One would expect to hear; country, folk, classic rock, oldies, novelty songs, plus original A3 tunes. Some skits include comic com- mercials, all include comedy, melodrama, and music and last for 30 to 45 minutes. A3 have been to Quartzsite before but their Variety Show is new this year. An entertain- ment critic from the Laughlin Enter- tainer Magazine said "...this is unique entertainment that is healthy in its hon- esty and fun in delivery." You can find the 1880's Variety Show in the parking lot outside of the Times Three Family Restaurant on Main Street between Mc- Donalds and Burger King. So grab your lunch or dinner at your favorite restau- rant and drop in to see a show. A3 has over a dozen different skits so you can re- turn again and again for more music and laughs, plus if you return to see another performance bring back your ticket and you will get $1 off the next show. Show times are Wednesday through Sunday Noon, 1:00, 5:00, and 6:00 all through January and February. January 18, 2012 DEADLINE is WED.
