NEW LANDSCAPING AT
Submitted by Richard Aaron, Tim Martin, and Jonathan Nash
QUARTZSITE, AZ- The Scholars’ Academy has new student designed landscaping designs.
Designs were submitted through Mr. McClenning’s math classes. Numerous ideas were combined to come up with the fi nal design. Red rocks were used to fi ll in the areas without concrete. The project is still in progress and should be fi nished
by the end of the school year. Students’ opinion varies.
Jonathan Nash prefers the old gravel rather than the new style. “One problem is the red coloring
from the rocks. It gets everything dirty.”
Alyssa Carter thinks it looks nice, “but boulders are a bit big”.
