The article featured on the DFP front page refers to the plowing of “Richard Oldham’s airstrip” with the date of February 13, 2011, however, the actual incident in question took place on Thursday, February 24, 2011. The article falsely states that, “Shanana Golden-Bear showed up claiming it [the plowing of town right-of-way at Richard Oldham’s airstrip] was scheduled to be destroyed…” I have over 20 witnesses to collaborate the fact that I was attending the Future Focus of Quartzsite meeting at Quartzsite Fire Station from 9am until after 2pm on the date in question, Thursday, February 24, 2011. I was nowhere near that airstrip! This very important meeting was featured in an article on the front page of the March 2nd issue of the Desert Messenger. On March 17, 2011, I emailed Jennifer Jones requesting her to issue a retraction/correction notice to be published in the next edition of Desert Rose Beauty Salon MARY’S BACK! Stop in and say hi!
