All eligible donors are encouraged to attend one of the following blood drives, but there is a very critical need for O negative type of blood. “These past few months have taken their toll on our O negative type blood supply” according to Ann Trilby, United Blood Services Donor Recruitment Repre- sentative. There will be opportunities to donate blood in the Parker/Quartzsite area Be Someone’s Special Valentine during the month of February. By do- nating one unit of blood, one person can help the lives of three recipients of their gift. Thursday, February 24 Noon to 6:00pm GFWC Quartzsite Community Senior Center 40 S.
