F 16, 2011  ANSWERS FROM PAGE 31 (Jerry Lukksson...con’t) I have worked with and donated time, materials and money towards the snack shack that is under construction. I have participated in Town Hall Meetings which have been received with great en- thusiasm. 4. Controlled growth and stability for our community is my vision. I think that we will see Quartzsite in bloom over the next 5 years. I would like to see the fl avor of our vendors, and rock hounds continue with controlled growth and amenities that bring people here for longer periods of time and provide the greatly needed service to our residents. This in turn will create more jobs and bring people to our community. I have been involved in the activities for the new Concession Stand and Community Center as well as Op- eration Hero Comfort, supporting our local troops. 4. What’s your vision for Quartzsite fi ve years from now? We need to sustain a larger population and create job and investment opportunities for the resi- dents of this community.
