It is held every day at the bookstore, with many different authors throughout the two months of January and February setting up ta- bles and greeting people and showing them their newest novel, non-fiction adventure, poetry, humorous books and much more. This past week saw several new authors to the fair from all over the country, along with several local tal- ented writers. Debbie Hilbish, resi- dent of Quartzsite, and coordinator for the fair, has a new book of poetry out called Life Dream Collisions, along with her first poetry book, Bits and Pieces. She also has some beautiful photos and drawings made into cards. This very special lady has done a great job getting the fair organized this past three years, and her books are just beautiful!! Ceil Stetson is back again this win- ter with her husband Stew, and she F 2, 2011 Come to the Author’s Fair! brought her mother’s memoir book called Dear Sergeant Honey--a won- derful look at the World War 2 memo- ries of a special lady, her mother, who was sent overseas on a special mission and kept all her letters and diaries, which Ceil organized into this fasci- nating book of memories. Ceil is also a gifted jewelry maker, and some of her special pieces are also available for sale at the fair. Stu Campbell is one of the “real cowboys” who has written three great books on horses--Humor around Horses, Horsin’ around a lot, and Horsin’ around Dudes. This genuine western gentleman has a great sense of humor, and it shows in his books. He teaches riding and lots of other things in his spare time!! Newcomer this year is Debbie Clark, from Salome, who wrote a suspense thriller titled Parley with Evil. It has taken several years and lots of rewrites, but it came out just great and will give you a real twist or two before it ends!!  SEE AUTHORS ON PAGE 15 Quartzsite Radio KBUX 94.3 FM http://kbuxradio.com • Quartzsite’s Favorite “CLASSIC HITS” • Local Information • Weather • 24 Hours Day / 7 Days Week! 928-927-5111 First locally-owned and operated music station in Quartzsite, Arizona.
