F 2, 2011 .DM. ServiceArizona.com provides quick alternative to MVD offi ce visits ADOT website gives customers another option for handling Motor Vehicle Division business PHOENIX - The Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Divi- sion has a quick, easy, secure and con- venient process for Arizonans to con- duct various motor vehicle and other transactions through the Internet. ServiceArizona.com is the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division’s website for online customer services. Arizonans can take advantage – day or night – of more than 20 services, such as renew- ing a vehicle’s registration, obtaining a duplicate driver license, obtaining per- mits, purchasing a specialized license plate, or even registering to vote. Many of the transactions performed on the site have no additional charg- es and no convenience fee for online transactions. The only fees that apply are the same ones you would pay when visiting an offi ce – but without the special trip and wait in line. ServiceArizona was launched in No- vember 1997, long before the Inter- net was commonly used for conduct- ing business. On the fi rst day there was one online transaction. Today, there are approximately eight mil- lion transactions conducted each year on ServiceArizona.com. Not all MVD transactions can be completed online, but the offerings continue to expand, based on new technologies and devel- opments. ADOT is recognized as a leader across the nation because of its innovative ServiceArizona portal. The website’s services have received a 99 percent ap- proval rating by users, and it is rated as a very user-friendly and time-saving tool to conduct motor vehicle transac- tions and other business needs.
