F 2, 2011  AUTHORS FROM PAGE 14 Debbie will be here for most of the next 6 weeks so don’t miss her!! Back again this year is T.A. Novak, who will come on days when he is not committed elsewhere. Tom has writ- ten two very different books--his fi rst one is called “Good Ones and Scally- wags”, and is full of stories about his bird dogs and their antics. Filled with lots of information about these spe- cial breeds of hunting dogs, and lots of humor. His second book, also non- fi ction, is called Among the Tin Cans and Broken Glass, and chronicles his 7 years with the Detroit Police Dept. during the race riots of the 60s in De- troit. Very poignant and very real. Mitt Winstead is also back this year on days when he can be here, with his new thrillers Evil and the Mirror, and Day Stalker. If you like suspense and lots of action, his books are full of it. Darlene Miller, author of RV Chuck- holes and Chuckles and More RV Chuckholes and Chuckles, has also been at the fair off and on and will be coming back as her time allows. Her books of full of the foibles we all face driving RVs and camping all over the country. Looking for a good laugh, this is the best in RV humor. David Bellomy wrote a beautiful book about a Tortoise and his friend who travel all over the southwest in the Mojave and Sonoran deserts and their adventures. Called “Tude”, it is a great book on the journey to discover what man’s role and responsibilities are in the world, and how they ques- tion the men and machines who are destroying the environment. with ON THE ROAD AGAIN Each Wed. 7-9pm QIA DANCE Craft Fair 1st Sat. of every month!
