Rain Dance Party
"It was the late 1950's", said Bob Wulfing, early editor of the
Englewood Herald. "In those days there was't much to do here, we
made our own entertainment. It didn't make much of an excuse to
have a party. Had a terrible drought, so we decided to have a Rain
Dance at the firehouse. Bobby Davis was fire chief then. e sky
just opened up that day, it poured. We got rain — but everybody
showed up for the party anyway. e mud was ankle deep.
