The Centennial Boards were evaluated to determine what restoration work was needed to be done. The boards were painted for the community, depicting historical places around Quartzsite for our state's centennial celebration in 2012. Many hands made short work to retouch and brighten the boards to bring them back to their former beauty. The Centennial Boards have been donated to the Town Of Quartzsite, and will be put on display at the Community Center. Our next meeting will be Feb. 7th at 6:30 pm at the Senior Center on Moon Mt. Rd. We will have a business meeting first, then John Romanko will present a program on retouching and preserving paintings. For more info call Jo @ 928-951-6549.
