It seems like kids grow and sprout up almost overnight. However, keeping them in
fashionable clothes doesn't have to cost you
a fortune. From newborn to size 16, The Chil-
dren's Place carries just about every clothing
item your youngster might need. School uni-
forms? Check. Fun girls' graphic tees, leggings,
accessories, dresses and rompers? Check.
Boys sports team related clothes? Got it. Outer
wear? Yep. Denim? Oh, yeah. Jammies? You
bet. Shoes? They've got those, too. No wonder
parents are crazy about The Children's Place..

Thrifting hasn't always been in vogue, but it has always made
sense. In 1902, Edgar J. Helms, a Methodist minister from
Boston, ounded Goodwill by collecting clothes and household
items from the well-to-do parts of the city and then hiring and training the less
fortunate to mend and repair the donated items. Today, television shows feature
interior designers shopping at Goodwill, while hip-hop stars sing about looking
for fashion finds there. Fashionistas peruse the racks looking for that vintage
find that will pull their wardrobe together.
What Reverend Helms knew in 1902 is just as true today. His vision lives on in
Fayetteville. The Goodwill Thrift Shop not only makes shoppers happy, it makes
the community stronger.
