M 16, 2011  LETTERS FROM PAGE 4 The town employees can now come to work knowing they will have willing people to work with and not fear the axe hanging over there head by accusations and threats and yes, lawsuits pending. We may even have council meetings again without rabble rousers who spout words with only half meanings. To accuse and say we are so far in debt and to buy on-line items needed, you must fi rst compare, price is not always the issue, to get the item that does the most for the money is the way to go. Kudos to the town residents, the town staff and our council for their good work and fair actions. And, oh yes, last but not least, we will remain Quartzsite, AZ not “Fosterville”. Thanks again Carol Kelley RIGHT ON VOTERS! The majority of voters in Quartzsite, were not blinded by the smoke and mirror antics of the coalition. Their backer and followers have failed in their misguided recall of good honest citizens. The voters recognized the fate the coalition had in mind for the town, and forthwith rejected it. Right on voters, keep a close eye to the future. Attend council meetings. Elmer F. London .DM. YEAH TEAM QUARTZSITE! WAY TO GO! In the recent election the Quartzsite Team (the voters) showed they have back bone, and know what they want their town to be, they don’t want bullies around and proved that by their votes. We can all be proud of ourselves, and thank you for supporting the Council. Thank you, Patricia Anderson Quartzsite Town Council TO ALL MY LOYAL PATIENTS It is with great regret that I must inform you that I will be closing Arizona Community Health Care effective April 9, 2011. It has been my pleasure to serve you and the entire Quartzsite area over the past 3 years. I have been trying to recruit another provider since I started the practice, but I have been unable to do so. I have enjoyed my time in Quartzsite but I am unable to continue a practice in two locations that are 120 miles apart. In an attempt to make this transition as seamless as possible, a copy of your records will be available to you until April 26, 2011. Please contact Sally at our offi ce, 928-927-4226 to make this request. After that time, you will need to contact 623-583-5032. I will refi ll appropriate prescriptions until April 26, 2011. Thank you for your past support and I wish all of you the best of health. I want to thank all of you who voted for return to stability in our government and rejected the outrageous attempts to anathematize those of us working for you. I have been a councilman for a relatively short time and I will be the fi rst to admit that I do not know everything about everything. Having an in-depth understanding of all aspects of governing continues to elude me. Having admitted that, I want you to know that I have always carefully considered all points of view regarding any resolutions proposed. I will continue to do so in the best interest of our town. The battle you have won is laudable, and each of you rose to defend the truth-for that, I thank you. As I write this, several members of the opposition are standing trial for their activities. There will be more. Again, let me offer my profound thanks and confi dence in the future of our town and its citizens. Councilman Joe Winslow, Quartzsite P 5 THANK YOU FOR PRAYERS & VOTES Dear Friends and Neighbors, I want to THANK all of you for your prayers and your votes, I know a lot of you could not vote in Quartzsite but said many prayers on our behalf and from your lips to Gods ear WE WON. Now maybe we can get the work done that we were voted in for the fi rst time. Once Again, Thank You. Barbara A Cowell, Vice-Mayor  SEE LETTERS ON PAGE 26 Palm Plaza Laundromat (next to the bank) N.
