P��� 24 ���.D�����M��������.��� M���� 16, 2011 Sandstone slab painted by Local artist, Dona Dole for Cancer Research fundraiser This is the slab of sandstone Proud Neighbors of Quartzsite donated for my VFW Women’s Auxiliary project painting for Cancer Aid and Research for the Gamble Against Cancer, Vegas Night in Apache Junction. It will be auctioned on Sat March 12th. The proceeds will go to cancer research. The Wanda Stewart Gamble Against Cancer, Vegas Nite is a fundraiser for Cancer Research put on by the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. In the past our organization has raised over $6,000 from this one event every year. However, our Auxiliaries have ongoing fundraising in every Auxiliary across the state to help fi ght this disease. Vendors, food, and dogs available for adoption, and agility courses provided a fun day for dog lovers and their best friends.
