J������ 19, 2011 ���.D�����M��������.��� P��� 29 Career Day at QES Quartzsite Elementary School (QES) is continuing to develop character building programs that support both academics and personal development. One of these programs is Career Edu- cation. This program assists our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to learn about and explore different opportunities, occupations and careers. Our career presentations are on the fi rst Friday of each month from 10:00- 11:00. Our fi rst presentation was com- pliments of Arizona Western College, assisting the students to look at how to go about choosing a career, followed by Quartzsite Fire Department. Our second presentation was done by Care Flight giving the students an opportu- nity to speak with a pilot, nurse and paramedic.
