All of the recent performances have been by invitation! The QIA staff had to close the doors and turn away people when all of the seats were full, at a capacity crowd of 760 people. Joanne, Paul’s wife of 26 years, said, “ It was Paul’s best performance of his life!” Paul began the show with demon- strating to the audience that he could tie a Windsor knot in his necktie, to complement his full outfi t. He then pointed out that he was the only per- son in the entire room with a necktie... a situation which made him unique... this time for his presence of clothing. The audience roared at the joke and it created a rapport with the audience which only grew as the evening pro- gressed. The evening was like sitting in Paul’s living room, enjoying a very personal and spontaneous dialog with animated Boogie Woogie and Blues music; at least fi ve more humorous  SEE PAUL ON PAGE 30 for the season!
