FLY IN at the RC Flyers Air Strip Pilots from Yuma & Wickenburg, surrounding areas as well as Chehalis, Washington, joined in the fun on Thursday morning, Jan. 12, 2011. The event was very well attended and organized by the Quartzsite Desert Flyers RC Club, who maintains the popular airstrip for Remote Controlled Aircraft. The airstrip is used locally all year round. Every morning (when the wind is not blowing strong) you can see locals and snowbird RVers from the northern states arrive with their one-of-a-kind re- mote control aircraft.
