the offensive line. "We have to be excited about that," Craig said. Senior right tackle Jared Clark (6-3, 301) has started 23 high school games, including all 12 last season at left tackle. "He's a kid the coaches love," Craig said. "He's awesome in the classroom. He's ev- erything a coach would want. He's a great leader for our kids. More than football, they come to him looking for advice. When it comes to building men, when you talk about those things, Jared Clark's that guy." Kadden Crittenden (5-8, 233) is getting snaps at left guard after playing mostly JV last year. "He's a kid that's going to ask you what he can get better at," Craig said. "He wants to be on the field for us." Martin "Big Salsa" Reyes (5-7, 281) takes over at the center position. "We think he's going to go in there and do a great job for us," Craig said. Senior Judd Kelly (5-11, 277) started 12 games at right guard last season. "He's a kid that loves football and shows up and gets with coach (Jonathan) Johnson and spends a lot of time trying to get better," Craig said. "He's a good, solid high school lineman that wants to play and help the team win games." Junior Jace Sutulovich (6-2, 263) received a Division I scholarship offer from New Mexico early in June. He started every game at right tackle as a sophomore and will man the position this fall. "Jace is a kid that probably pushes him- self harder than any kid on the team on a day-to-day basis," Craig said. "He wants to be great on the weight room and on the film (study). He's got really good skills and is working to be more knowledgeable on the football side of things. … He shocked us last year as a sophomore. Obvisouly we expect big things this year." Alexis Miranda (5-6, 240) and defensive linemen J.P. Wills (5-8, 225) and Keondre Westbrook (5-10, 248) can also play some offensive line. Special teams The Panthers have some holes to fill at place kicker. Ronald Mancea is currently the No. 1 candidate to handle the placekicking duties. "He's got really good leg explosion," Craig said. "He kicks the ball great. He's do- ne a great job." As of press time, the Panthers were still exploring their options at punter. In the return game expect Elijah Coffey, Christian Ledeker and Gavin Henson to be primary returners in kickoff and punt. Judd Kelly, J.P. Wills and Jace Sutulovich are all candidates for deep snapper.
