You don't haveseeking new memto be parents; just Quartzsite - In an effort to be more available to local vendors, the Quartzsite RV Parks, Swap Meets & Vendor Board changed their meeting times. The volunteer board will be meeting the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month at 7pm through March at Town Hall. The meetings are open to the public and vendors are invited to attend. Quartzsite Town Hall is Located at 465 N. Plymouth. 928-927-4333. Parts • Accessories • Repair TUES.-SAT. 10am-4pm SUN.MON.CLOSED 360 E. MAIN ST. QUARTZSITE interested in volunteering at Quartzsite Elementary School (QES) or at school functions to help raise money for our students and teachers. Membership is only $5. Maybe you have a special skill, such as art or music, that you'd like to share with the students. The PTA is also collecting BOX TOPS for education. They are worth 10 cents each towards educational tools and sports equipment, which is badly needed for our athletic department. The PTA is also collecting Campbell's labels. Anyone can drop off the labels at the school office. The PTA is a nonprofit organization and is qualified to receive donations from other nonprofits or anyone. Upcoming events: Feb. 7th is our next meeting at 3:30pm at QES. On Feb. 16th there's a Bake Sale at the Main Post Office 8am-noon. Our funds are split between Ehrenberg and Quartzsite Elementary Schools, so there's not much left in the budget for soccer uniforms, library books, etc. Any donation would be appreciated. Thank you, Karon Robertson 928-927-3909. Lutheran Church 10th Anniversary The congregation of Covenant Lutheran Church at 270 E. Cowell Street invites you to celebrate the tenth anniversary of our present building on Sunday, January 27th. Worship service will begin at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Bill Simpson, now retired, will be preaching. Church construction was made possible through joint efforts of the ELCA and LCMS Mission Builders working along with local volunteers from the congregation. Brunch refreshments will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall.
