January 16, 2013 Cowboy Humorist Stu Campbell signs books Stu Campbell will be signing books at the Quartzsite Library on Thursday, January 24th at 2:30pm. Author of 6 books, Stu has been a cowboy most all his life. A graduate of Utah State University with a degree in Animal Husbandry, he has also been a ski instructor, truck driver and a rancher. Stu Campbell is a tall, lean cowboy from the old school. Generally on the quiet and shy side, Stu has the ability to look on the lighter side and see the humor in any situation. Artists displaying at Mountain Quail Cafe Quartzsite, AZ - Artist Oney Budge, Winner of the People's Choice Award, and 1st Place of the December Quartzsite Art Guild, Art Show and Sale for her oil paintings " After the Rain" and "Pride", is now showing her work at Mountain Quail Cafe , 490 No. Moon Mountain Ave. Quartzsite, AZ. Oney has on display the original paintings of oil on deer hide as well as a mini gift area that feature prints, mugs, and cards. Beginning January 26th, the showing Artist at Mountain Quail Cafe is Artist Vera Barrett ,also a winner at the Quartszite Art Guild December show. Vera won 2nd place for her painting of Alaska. New to the area Vera Barrett's paintings of the Alaskan area is a must see.
