Nice Weekend! How about that rain? The entire area got hit from big rains early in the week, dropping a month's worth in only a few hours. That rain brings most of the area up to around normal for the year now (but we're still in a long term drought). I don't see any more big rains like that for a while, as the weather pattern should turn much quieter for a few days. There is one thing to watch over the weekend, a weak upper low sitting at the coast. For now, it appears to stay mostly to our east, but I wouldn't rule out some showers or storms any afternoon, especially over the upper sections of the region near Golden Valley to the South Mountains this weekend. Otherwise, I think it will be mostly sunny and very comfortable for May. Still no really hot weather in sight, so get out and enjoy this perfect weekend. The next rains should arrive later next week.
