February 15, 2012 GENE FROM PAGE 30 at two different hospitals had taken their toll. His Eternal Reward drew nigh as he struggled for breath & some much-needed rest. That Thursday night around 11:00 pm, we told him, "It is okay for you to go. We love you." He had fought a good fight & he was ready for the Win/Win situation of being healed, or going Home. Both oc- curred within two hours. He was at home, surrounded by Family, that early Friday morning of January 27th, 2012 at 12:55 am as he drew his last breath upon this earth & went on to our FUTURE. . .HEAVEN! And now, as he joins Dale Earnhardt? I'm sure they're discussing NASCAR, because Hey! you gotta have a Good Wrench, right? :) Gene is survived by his Wife, Bernice Marlene Plemmons Clark. Trophies. . . ribbons. . .plaques. ALL attest- ed to the fact, but mostly? He was known for being "Genuine", "Fun", a "Prankster", a "Great Man" & a "Good Friend". Quite a tribute, isn't it? The weeks of non-stop coughing & stays www.DesertMessenger.com Immediately following the Service, we will retire to the desert for a "Hallelujah" Hobo Stew!
