December 7, 2011 Quartzsite students share artwork with the world! Quartzsite Elementary School (QES) students have teamed up with Artso- nia,, the world's largest kid's art museum, to display their artwork! Anyone can view the school gallery online at www.artsonia. com/schools/Quartzsite1. Visitors can browse the artwork in the school gallery by grade level or by spe- cific exhibits. Quartzsite Elementary School students join thousands of stu- dents from over 130 countries whose artwork is showcased on Artsonia. This program is a wonderful way to get parents and family members more involved in Art Education. Any teacher or parent can create an online art gal- lery for their child or school. Artsonia provides several online fea- tures such as fan clubs and personal guestbooks, as a way for families to encourage the creativity and imagi- nations of their young artists. Family members can purchase keepsakes im- printed with their child's artwork from the Gift Shop! Artsonia donates 15% of their annual product revenue back to the school. These monies will be used to purchase art supplies for further ad- ventures. It is important to encourage our students to excel in their strengths and this is a wonderful opportunity to give them. With the help of Artsonia we can help them succeed. Since its inception in 2000, Artsonia continues to integrate technology in the classroom, develop multi-cultural understanding through art and in- crease family involvement in children's education.
