The event was sponsored by the Ar- izona Centennial of Quartzsite, honor- ing women in the home. Following the Apron Show, Richard McBride held an old fashioned Pie Auction. 37 pies were donated by local businesses and individuals, and auctioned off rais- ing funds for the Arizona Centennial's Lasting Legacy Project.
