For Diane Rowell, a former resident of Quartzsite, she got the best Christmas present every! The Bucket List Foundation, Phoenix, granted Diane's special wish "to go on a cruise to St. Maarten and St. Thomas" located in the Caribbean Islands. Diane was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer with no foreseeable cure. For the past 3 ½ years, she has gone through extensive radiation and chemo treatments. At the present time, she is on experimental treatment and holding her own. Maggie Ross, who is Diane's closest friend, has been with her through her incredible journey of determination and courage. "She is my inspiration and makes my physical disabilities seem like nothing compared to what she is living each day. She is a blessing in my life and I pray each day that she makes it to the next and the next and the next. We have become very close and Diane so deserves this trip." The thrill of it all is that Maggie was notified by the Bucket List Foundation that she will be going along! Maggie and her husband Gene, have been instrumental in helping fundraise for Diane's wish. Maggie wishes to thank everyone who prays for Diane each day and all of you who helped donate to the Bucket List Foundation.
